Second day at QVB

This is the second weekend down at the iconic Queen Victoria Building.   The copper domes are glorious in the sunshine so  fun to try to capture on paper.

The Christmas tree is up inside the building and it's huge, fills the multi levels of the place.  You can see the twinkling lights inside.

  1. Wow. Thanks for posting. You're a national treasure, Nancy. One of my fave artists is jeannie baker but her stuff is collage whereas your stuff reminds me of all the dreams and longings that I had as a child. How you manage to capture everything with such simplicity astounds me. And also the fact that you draw everyday... I hope one day to see your work amongst children's stories.
